Law Firm Looking For Arizona Movie Production Deal
The Law Offices of David Asser are looking for a production company interested in producing a feature length film in Arizona. The movie deals with Arizona's unique immigration situation as being ground zero.The premise of the film is about an anti-immigrant Senator, his daughter and an asylum seeker. The Senator, whose character is based on a real politician, is on a crusade against illegal immigration. However, his daughter falls in love with the asylum seeker, which leads to conflict and disaster. The movie takes place in Arizona and brings together all aspects of what is special about the State, including the exceptional urban sprawl, the fear of the foreigner and healing of the Native American spirit.The timing of the movie couldn't be more poignant.

Arizona's film committee has just committed itself to bring more film projects to Arizona. Local movie producers, directors and talent are waiting for projects that could be produced in Arizona. Governor Napolitano has stressed the importance of a movie industry many times. And at the same time the debate about immigration is heating up. David is an immigration attorney who has been operating in the field for over ten years. He was a press secretary for the Dutch Justice Department and dealt with the immigration issue first hand.
