The CON-CAN Movie Festival is organized by the CON-CAN Media Plaza as part of the "activities of discovering hidden creative talents from all over the world." Deadline of submission: no later than August 31 (Wed), 2005Audience review period through free streaming: October 11 (Tue), 2005 through January 22(Sun), 2006Announcement of nominated films: February 6 (Mon), 2006Final judgment: February 24 (Fri), 2006Announcement of CON-CAN Grand Prix and Tamashii Award: February 27 (Mon), 2006·CON-CAN Grand Prix: presented to one film productionCash reward of US$10,000 (In case no film production is eligible for the Grand Prix, three film productions will be chosen for Encouragement Awards US$3,000)·Tamashii Awards: presented to two film productionsCash reward of US$3,000The CON-CAN Movie Festival aims at enabling people around the world to share and exchange the underlying messages of profound short film productions.
